ENERGY WEEK 2010

GHK Motors Sdn Bhd, the Brunei distributor for Mitsubishi vehicles, in conjunction with and in full support of Energy Week 2010, organised by Petroleum Unit, Energy Division in the Prime Minister’s Office has brought in from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), Japan one unit of i-MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle).

The official launch of Energy Week will commence 24th May 2010.

However, the I-MiEV will be displayed in The Mall, Gadong from 22nd May and will continue until 26th May.

From 27th to 29th May, the vehicle will be displayed at Manggis Mall, Jalan Muara, the venue for the Energy Forum with the theme “Energy Efficiency in Transportation: An Integrated Solution.”

Present at these venues to explain the special features of the i-MiEV will be a technical instructor from GHK who has been sent to Japan for I-MiEV training.

A senior expert on electric vehicles from MMC, Mr. Kenichiro Wada has also been invited by GHK Motors Sdn Bhd to give a talk in the forum.

GHK Motors Sdn Bhd supports the need for energy conservation in Brunei and hopes the I-MiEV display together with the talk will start Brunei drivers to consider cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels.
